Patoranking to battle Mavins, others for 2015 VGMA African Artiste of the Year award

The organisers of 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) have unveiled six nominees to battle it out in the coveted category of the African Artiste of the Year.
In the category revealed last week, Nigeria leads the list with four nominations while South Africa and Tanzania bagged one nomination each.‎
Nigeria’s top female singer, Tiwa Savage is also nominated in an individual capacity in the category and she is joined by South African rapper, AKA, Nigeria’s music group, Mavins as well as Patoranking and Yemi Alade as well as Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz.
The awards ceremony will take place at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) in Ghana on Saturday, April 11, 2015.
